Junior Front-End Developer/Senior Web Designer

I wasn't always a Front-End Developer. My professional journey has encompassed diverse roles over the past decade. I served as a Website Administrator, Data Analyst, Graphic Designer, and HTML Email Designer/Developer for over five years at a well known e-commerce company in the beauty industry. Subsequently, I ascended to the position of Senior Web Designer at a global tech company in the automotive sector, accumulating an additional five years of valuable experience. Each role has provided me with a wealth of expertise and knowledge, allowing me to collaborate closely with lots of well-known brands in both the beauty and automotive industries, globally. I have extensive experience with various CMS platforms, including WordPress, HubSpot, Salesfusion, and WooCommerce, as well as CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor.

In 2021, I began my journey as a Junior Front-End Developer at CitNOW, a leading provider of app-based video solutions tailored for the automotive industry. Collaborating within an agile environment, alongside a small team of Back-End & Front-End Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Product Managers, I contribute to the creation and modernisation of innovative web dashboards aimed at enhancing transparency and simplifying the car buying and ownership experience. Each day presents fresh challenges that foster continuous learning and growth, whilst working with a large codebase/tech stack.

I initially studied to be a Sound Engineer/Producer at college before discovering a passion for Adobe Flash (R.I.P.), which opened my mind to a world of creative possibilities, combining sound with different forms of digital media. I believe in lifelong learning, having a curious mindset, being active, and creative.

I love good design, music, the outdoors, cycling, kayaking, whisky, travel, sports, playing piano, and podcasts/audiobooks.
